Nneka is a native Houstonian who practices primarily in the areas of insurance and civil litigation.  Her practice focuses predominantly on first and third-party insurance disputes. Additionally, Nneka has experience handling condominium association law and negligence security matters.

Experience:

Nneka’s legal career began as a prosecutor working for the Miami Dade State Attorney’s Office. She handled the prosecution of various crimes including armed robberies, sex-crime cases, career criminals, drug trafficking and carjacking. She also assisted law enforcement in the investigation and subsequent prosecution of complex insurance and general fraud cases. Nneka has successfully represented a multitude of clients involved a range of casualty matters for over 14 years.  She has tried a large number of cases to verdict, be it in front judges or juries both in Texas and in Florida.

Representative Matters:

  • Successfully represented her client in a personal injury matter obtaining a no negligence verdict in Jefferson County Texas.
  • Successfully defended her client in a personal injury matter from claims in excess of $2 million with a resulting verdict of less than $39,000.
  • Successfully defended a marble contractor in a personal injury matter where claims were in excess of $500,000 with a resulting verdict of less than $8,000.00.
